It was good to get out today even if it was very light wind. I didn't plane once, but still had fun practising light wind gybes.

It reminded me that I'm a windsurfer, and not just a biker.

I christened a pair of Atan boots and some Ion palmless mitts today which I picked up in Whitstable before heading to the beach - most impressed with both. The boots are great as they are so slim you know exactly where your feet are and can feel the board through them. The mitts were great too - kept the wind off, but allowed you to use your fingers when you neeed them. Money well spent!
